Day-to-day job responsibilities include analysis of specifications and interfaces, design, development, regression and integration testing of software, creation of technical documentation and providing support to other development teams as well as production support. This is a high-visibility position within the department. This position is in the STP (Straight Through Processing Team).
Job Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in OOD/OOP in core J2EE Java version 1.5 or better.
Java skills must have threading experience. Good communication skills along with Windows, some UNIX and Linux platform experience is a must.
Strong software Object-Oriented design skills and design patterns are needed to be able to use interfaces and classes properly.
Technology:
Must Have: Java, J2EE, Weblogic, Spring, Oracle 10.x, Design Patterns, JMS/EMS,XML,SQL
Good to Have: Maven, Cruise Control, Subversion and Continuous Integration tools
Products: Fixed Income, Cash or Credit Derivatives.
