C#.NET with Portfolio Accounting Position Full-time

.NET Framework, C# - NYC
Knowledge of portfolio accounting and reporting. (Advent Axys or APX experience a strong plus)
Perl scripting.
SQL experience with a variety of databases, most importantly MS SQL and UDB.
Experience with Batch based systems and development.
Autosys a strong plus
Java experience a strong plus -- With a focus on object oriented design.
EAI tools such as Composite and Informatica a strong plus
Professional/technical experience
At least 7 years experience in financial services

Candidate would be responsible for ongoing enhancements and maintenance of core portfolio accounting and trading platforms for the wealth management business. Candidate would be required to respond to escalations from production support teams, as well as planning and implementation of system enhancements. Candidate would also participate in the strategic planning and implementation of the next generation portfolio accounting system servicing clients and sales teams
Core accountabilities
Maintenance of existing systems (Advent AXYS, MOXY, and associated batch processes)
Level 3 support for existing systems
Participation in analysis and design of strategic replacement for AXYS
Lead participant in implementation of strategic replacement for AXYS
Key clients (internal and external)
